Plac Zamkowy in Warsaw. My first attempt at HDR photography.

Inspired by Trey Ratcliff‘s images I decided to try taking some HDR images. The picture above, from September 2009 was my very first attempt, and I think it’s not too bad. Since then I’ve gone through the phase of wanting to HDR everything to becoming allergic to the frequent overuse of the technique. Now I am much more restrictive in using it. I usually try to make it subtle, but sometimes garish over-the-topness has its place.
