I was in Katowice over the weekend to attend a concert by Bobby McFerrin. I’ve seen him a couple of times before when he visited Poland and his concerts are always an amazing display of the versatility of the human voice. This time he was accompanied by the group Gimme 5 and a brilliant Polish chamber choir, 441 Hz.

We spent only a couple of hour in Katowice, mainly around the concert hall, the new house of the National Symphonic Orchestra of the Polish Radio. Because of the awful weather we didn’t go to see the old miner neighbourhood Nikiszowiec, which I really wanted to see. Next time. Below are a few pictures from around and inside the concert hall.
